Thinking transitions from CSA to cUL certification

ALDINET guarantees continuity and support in Spain and Portugal in light of THINKING's certification update for Canada

The transition from CSA to cUL certification in the SCK, TTC05, and TVR series will maintain full regulatory compliance and component performance with zero design impact.

ALDINET, the primary distributor and strategic partner in the Iberian Peninsula for THINKING ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIAL CO., LTD., proactively informs the market about the recent update to the safety regulations of several of its most widely used component families.

THINKING has obtained UL + cUL certifications. Since the CSA and cUL certification standards are identical and recognized with the same benefits for use in the Canadian region, the manufacturer has decided to cancel three CSA certificates and replace them entirely with the cUL certificate.

This measure will take effect on August 31, 2026, and will apply to the following component families:

SCK Series: 05/08/10/13/15
TTC05 Series
TVR Series (regular products): 05/07/10/14/20

Seamless transition with no technical impact

ALDINET assures all its customers that this regulatory change is strictly documentary and related to labeling. At a technical level, the quality, reliability, dimensions, and electrical characteristics of the products remain exactly the same as before.

As of the effective date, the only visible modification will be the removal of the CSA logo printed on the main body of the component, on the minimum packaging bag, and on the outer box. Likewise, all material manufactured prior to August 31, 2026, bearing the CSA mark continues to fully meet technical requirements. This entire transition process is rigorously controlled under the ISO/IATF 16949 and ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.
